Experience and Skills
- Pharmacogenetics: experience includes real time PCR, High Resolution Melting and direct sequencing. IT skills include the design of assay, sequence analysis and haplotype analysis. Clinical association studies and experimental pharmacogenetics.
- Drug metabolism and transport studies: Experience includes preparation and use of in vitro models (microsomes, recombinant enzymes), design of methods and strategies for identification of metabolites, enzyme, or isoforms involved in a metabolic pathway (either of phase I or phase II), enzyme kinetics, in vitro-in vivo extrapolation and drug-drug interaction studies. Transport studies using caco2, HepaRG. Molecular cloning and cell transfection.
