LAPE provides its staff and students with access to financial databases on companies and markets worldwide. LAPE holds subscriptions to a variety of databases that cover areas such as financial statements, market data, ESG, board of directors, syndicated loans, and more. These databases provide both real-time and historical data for use in research and courses.
Registering for a database
All databases are accessible in the Data room (room 211B). To access the data room, it is necessary to register and make an appointment. We provide assistance with the registration process and offer training tools to help users utilize the databases more effectively. Fitch Connect provides access a large comprehensive bank financial data set available in the market.
Access up to 30 years of historical financial data standardised across currencies, local accounting standards and reporting frequencies.
Data records include of up to 550 data points per bank, 50 pre-calculated ratios including key regulatory ratios such as the Basel III Leverage Ratio, Liquidity Coverage Ratio and Net Stable Funding Ratio, and original source filings.

Orbis is a company database comprising information about more than 400 million companies worldwide. It also covers the banking and insurance sectors.
