Le laboratoire SPCTS (Science des Procédés Céramiques et Traitements de Surface) organise le prochain colloque « International Workshop on Advanced Ceramics » (IWAC 07) dédié aux céramiques techniques.
du 26 au 28 septembre 2016
Historic
The International Workshop on Advanced Ceramics (IWAC) series of workshops was initiated in 2004 by Professors Pierre Abélard (Limoges) and Masayuki Nogami (Nagoya) to promote collaboration between laboratories in Europe and Asia. Since then, workshops have been held in Limoges, Nagoya, London and Erlangen. The informal format of exchanges has proved to be a valuable tool for constructing international networks and relations in research and in teaching.
This 7th edition of IWAC (IWAC-07) will be held in Limoges (France) on September 26-28, 2016 organized by SPCTS laboratory and under the auspices of the French Group of Ceramics.
Scope of the Workshop IWAC07
The objective of this workshop is to demonstrate that ceramics, from materials to systems, may bring innovative solutions to society needs. This workshop will cover all aspects of characterization, design and processing technologies of ceramics, with emphasis on energy and environment-related ceramics, information and communication technologies and bio-medical applications.
The workshop will consist of invited and contributed oral presentations, and poster sessions. The presentation of recent research activities on ceramics especially by young researchers is strongly encouraged.
