You have just achieved a Master’s Degree (or you are in the first four years of your research career) in:
- Materials Science
- Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in materials
- Materials Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Applied Physics
- Thermal Engineering
- Chemical Technology
We are recruiting 15 international PhD students to be trained as European experts in Advanced THermomechanical multiscale mOdelling of Refractory linings (ATHOR):
ATHOR is an original research project dedicated to Advanced THermomechanical multiscale mOdelling of Refractory linings. This is an European Training Network (ETN) program that will start in October 2017, as a Marie-Sklodowska-Curie action (Innovative Training Network – ITN).
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your international career prospects:
- Original research projects within a Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (Horizon 2020 grant 764987)
- One of these 15 PhD positions could develop your skills to a high level in advanced characterization and/or innovative modelling
- Consortium of 14 European partners (6 highly specialized universities and 8 worldwide leading Industrial Partners)
- Visits to other network partners during secondments
- Participate in worldwide training workshops and knowledge exchanges between research teams within the FIRE network
